9am train from Sheffield station direct to Penzance. Needed to use the lift on Sheffield station to get us and the tandem up to the bridge over to the far platform. Just as well we had aimed to be at the station early!

Arrived Penzance 4pm. Spent a few minutes studying the map in the Tourist Information office window to try and find where the Christadelphian Meeting Room is so that we could attend the service the following morning. Wound our way through the streets of Penzance, uphill, and eventually found it on a little back street, well hidden away if you don't know where it is!

Back down into the town and then onwards via the A30 towards Lands End. Our B&B for the night was about 2 miles from Lands End, at Sennen. As we arrived there we decided that since it was such a lovely evening we'd continue to Lands End and get our record sheet stamped, thus saving time the following morning.

Lands End has been developed somewhat since we were last there some years ago. However, since it was now early evening it was fairly quiet in the warm evening sunshine. Got our sheet stamped at the Lands End Hotel and took the obligatory photographs at the "Signpost". We also met a few others who were about to start the same journey as we were. Two of them we met later just over the Scottish border but we never saw any of the others again.

We returned to our B&B, the Sunny Bank hotel by the main (but quiet) road at Sennen to enjoy a very nice evening meal and comfortable night.

We call this "Day 0" because we didn't really start the ride until tomorrow!
