Grindleford and Padley

The old railway station at Grindleford is a favourite meeting/stopping point for walkers. It's now a cafe and there are usually several groups enjoying mugs of tea and platefulls of food at the tables outside if the weather is good.

Padley Chapel is all that remains of Padley Hall.

Padley Mill used to be a working, water driven corn mill but is now a private house. An old postcard of it is at:
