1st August

Followed a “Route Verte” (Green Route) from Sherbrooke to Richmond, then a right turn towards Victoriaville.

66 miles

Some of the Routes Vertes are built on old railway line trackbeds and run for many miles, often in a straight line.

The wild flowers grow in profusion along the track sides.

There are regular, shady stopping places provided, often with toilet and water supply facilities and sometimes even tool kits and air supplies for repairs.

That evening, many of us went to an “All You Can Eat” Chinese restaurant for our evening meal.
